Nambe Falls Dam and Reservoir is a small impoundment of about 54 acres on the Rio Nambe 25 miles north of Santa Fe, NM. It is a feature of the San Juan - Chama Project. It generally opens about April 1st depending upon fire, funding, water conditions. The Pojaque Valley Irrigation District may close the lake through the Bureau of Reclamation depending upon extensive drought.
