Sandoval County Historical Society

The Sandoval County Historical Society (SCHS) was established in 1977 and is a non-profit corporation with members from all over the country. Its mission is to identify, preserve, and bring before the public the history of Sandoval County. We maintain extensive photo and print archives and a library. Sandoval County is the heart of historic New Mexico, home to ancient Indian and Spanish villages, and has been continuously occupied for over 1000 years.
