ince 1983, the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce's mission of strengthening, promoting and serving its member businesses has positively benefited the entire region and local quality of life. We envision a community where businesses can grow and where people want to raise their families. The Angel Fire Chamber represents over 200 members who employ approximately 1,000 workers. These workers account for millions of dollars in economic impact in Angel Fire and the surrounding areas of Northern New Mexico. This is accomplished without tax dollars, as the Angel Fire Chamber is supported strictly by membership revenues. Serving as a unified voice, the Chamber advocates for pro-business issues affecting member businesses on the local, state, and national levels.
We are proud to feature news about our region and our member businesses in the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce's exclusive "I Know Jo" Campaign. This campaign started as a way for our President/CEO, Jo Mixon, to get to know the membership in 2011. It has, over the past years, become one of the favorite news/advertising events in Angel Fire. The catch phrase being, "I Know Jo, do you?" She visits a different Chamber member to learn about their business. She then shares information in a story she writes for our Weekly Chamber Monday Memo e-Blast. This e-Blast is sent out to thousands of people on our mailing list.
