B E Y O N D ST NDING ROCK Through October 27, 2019 The protest at Standing Rock Indian Reservation demonstrated one of many instances where corporate and/ or government actions were viewed as violations of Native American Treaties, a threat to Native American well-being, and disrespect for the sacredness of Native land. Our exhibit focuses on the events leading up to the Dakota Access Pipeline construction and the experiences and artistic observations of the many who were there to bear witness.
